There are some wonderful stories that we watch in movies that appear to be true. Like the classic Disney creation The Fox and the Hound, which has just been brought to life by the companionship of a rescued fox and a beautiful bulldog.

This extraordinary story began in April, when a 28-year-old lady called Pauline Ashanolla from the Isle of Wight in England rescued a two-week-old skunk.

The abandoned puppy was discovered by a couple who, after failing to find a rescue facility to keep her, called Pauline.

According to Pauline, who spoke to The Kennedy News and Media,

“Marley was covered in flies and ticks when we discovered her. They were in her ears, all over her. She vomited huge worms that were longer than she was. She would have perished if she had been discovered 15 minutes later.”

Pauline took care of Marley in a very strict and dedicated manner for the first six weeks, until she was completely healthy.

According to Pauline:

“I was anxious about Marley at first, especially how she would get along with the dogs. Ernie was first scared of Marley and disliked her, but he gradually grew to sleep closer to her. They began to play after approximately three weeks. They started running together one day and have been close buddies ever since.”
